Limited Submission Opportunities

In limited submission opportunities, the funder restricts the number of proposals an institution can submit for that opportunity. Funders place the responsibility of application review and selection on the institution.

博彩网址大全’s Research Development Group (RDG) manages limited submissions for federal and foundation opportunities. One principal aim of RDG is to ensure a seamless, transparent and consistent approach that gives all faculty a fair chance while also putting forward the strongest proposal on behalf of 博彩网址大全. The University accomplishes this through the following process:

  1. Limited submission opportunities are posted, and applicants submit preliminary applications through OpenWater, an internal application platform. Applicants complete a pre-proposal application, often a C.V. and project description. Opportunities are also distributed via internal communications channels.
  2. If the number of interested applicants for a given opportunity exceeds the number of proposals the institution is permitted to submit, 博彩网址大全 faculty will review the applications to determine those they consider to be the most competitive.
  3. The chosen applicant(s) prepare a full proposal to be submitted to the funder before the deadline.

Despite the best efforts of RDG, not every limited submission funding opportunity may be identified. For more information on LSO opportunities, email rdg@54zhangmi.com.
